Today, choose to honor God by worshipping in spirit and truth.
Don't just go through the motions of religion.
Invite Him to permeate every part of your being.
Give Him permission to search your heart, to know you and to reveal anything that is not pleasing to Him.
As He reveals those things, repent and go the opposite direction, with your sights set on Him.
Heavenly Father, I want to come before You and worship You in a way that pleases Your heart. I don't want to offer lip service to You while my heart is far away. Draw me near; soften my heart of stone so that I can see what is really inside. As You reveal my anxious and offensive ways, I know that You will give me the strength to turn from my wicked ways and walk the path of everlasting life.
