Practicing Honor, Day by Day 30

"Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered..." Exodus 17:14 (NIV)

Today, consider starting a gratitude/blessings/thankful journal in your home.

Leave a journal lying on your coffee table or dining room table where most of your family will see it every day.

Encourage everyone to write in it daily or weekly.

Include ways that God provides for your every need, as well as the ways He blesses you with “extras.”

In the months and years ahead, it will be a great encouragement to look back and read what you wrote.

Heavenly Father, I have so much to be grateful for. Every day, You provide with food to eat, water to drink and clothes to wear. Everything above that is an added blessing and I want to become mindful of Your provision in my life. Thank You for pouring out good things for me and my family. I choose to become deliberate and write down my blessings each day. I pray that this exercise will fill my heart with a deeper level of gratitude to You. I know You will use these records to increase my faith (and the faith of others) in the future.
